I am currently working my way through this book from Packt. You may recognize the author’s name as he also worked on The Witcher series as Lead Combat/Gameplay Designer. He recently switched to 11 Bit Studios to work on This War of Mine.
I’m about %40 into the book and its looking good. Overall it comes in a format of very short recipes for how to do something in Unity that are tied together by chapter. For instance, one chapter breaks down the difference between traditional vs Root Motion animation and then each lesson shows how to do one individual thing. This format works great and I’m excited to give my full review soon.
